A stunning Quartz deposit weighing 67KG and measures 55CM in height, makes this natural quartz bedrock a monumental display that sparkles at every angle.

The Quartz clusters show great clarity and are all rare for their size of specimen overall. Located in one of the most important Quartz locations. The pre-eminent group of mines of such a location has produced crystal beds that now reside within museums around the world.

In prehistory, milky Quartz is created through the action of deposition of minerals within waters of high temperatures, forming in the regions of mountain ranges, similar to and just like North America. This is not your typical Quartz bed deposit and is in fact in the top ten, of what the region has to offer. Quartz in the Ouachita Mountains laid down in the late Palaeozoic era (between 280,000,000 to 245,000,000 years) created the Quartz vein near Little Rock, Arkansas. This area is approximately 60 feet in depth and runs from Oklahoma to Arkansas. Arkansas Quartz is often cut to imitate diamonds and are termed Arkansas Quartz diamonds.

The Arkansas state between Oklahoma and Tennessee in North America is the likely origin of some of the finest Quartz specimens discovered to date. Since prehistoric eras, early man and natives fashioned tools from quartz that was admired for its clarity and rich qualities of Quartz throughout their prised possessions whether these be arrowheads or ritual hand axes.
